Ignition is a modular, SQL-centric software platform for building HMI/SCADA, historian and MES solutions based on modern technologies such as OPC-UA and web clients.

HMI/SCADA capabilities

With Ignition’s Vision and Perspective technologies, we deliver flexible, database-driven visualisation systems for control rooms and field devices. Applications commonly include real-time process monitoring, alarm and event management, trends and historical analysis.

OPC-UA and drivers

Ignition’s OPC-UA module provides a high-performance, cross-platform server with drivers for many popular industrial protocols, enabling connectivity to PLCs and other field devices.

SQL integration

The SQL Bridge module connects OPC data to SQL databases, supporting data logging, transaction management, downtime tracking, recipe management and other integration tasks.

MES modules

Daesim implements Ignition MES modules such as OEE Downtime, SPC, Recipe/Changeover and Instrument Interface to extend HMI/SCADA solutions into production and quality management.
